When did the Republican party become the party of war or war rhetoric? More importantly, why are Christians today so wrapped up in this lust for war? Have they forgot the Commandments of “Love thy neighbor as thyself?” or “Thou shalt not kill?” Are they so mesmerized by the Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh’s of the world, as well as all else on Fox News who repeat the mantra of being aggressive towards our neighbors that they forget who Republicans really stand for? Wasn’t it just four years ago the Republicans chose a war loving candidate in John McCain instead of listening to the only peace loving candidate? I can tell you flat out, this is not your father or mother’s Republican party, and it isn’t mine.

Republicans Used To Give Us Out of Wars

Wasn’t it the Republicans who got us out of the wars in Korea and Vietnam? These were the wars the Democrats got us into. Now that Obama and the Democrats have been in charge we might have wound down in Iraq, but we have escalated the war in Afghanistan and are now involved in Syria, Libya, dropping bombs on Pakistan via drones and threatening to bomb Iran. Whatever happened to the Constitution where it states that all these wars, including the ones we fought in Korea and Vietnam have to be declared? Who needs Congress then if we leave these decisions to a Presidential declaration? Why have a Constitution at all when you are so convinced by the media that our government leaders know what they’re doing? How did that work out for the weapons of mass destruction in Iraq?

Republican Voters Choose Romney Who Wants To Attack Iran and Now Talking About A Soviet Threat

So this is what the Republican Party platform has come to dear voters. Choose Candidate Romney because he will save you from all these threats from them, whomever “them” is. So lets take a look at who really is a threat and who isn’t in the land of the free.

Take a look at the graphic below and please explain to me how the U.S. is in fear of anyone. Tell me how Israel is in fear when Netanyahu has said himself that they don’t need the help of the U.S. as “Israel can defend herself.”

How would anyone neutral view the above actions over the last 6 plus decades? Is this the reason the dollar stays as strong as it has? Or is it the fact that when Nixon took us off the gold standards in 1971, after we basically told everyone we would no longer honor their gold requests, that they U.S. government figured they were the only game in town? This is why the U.S. government has gone into perpetual debt, living off of future generations. We are over $16 trillion in debt and you still want more debt to support your lust for wars. Good luck with that Republicans and Democrats!

This is all the Republican party has going for it…elect Romney and go to war. Listen, no one is attacking America. If they even tried to they would be annihilated. It’s not just Fox News. Glenn Beck, who has his own believers in his rhetoric, some of which is good, I labeled as a Muslim hater the first day he came out with his Blaze Internet news source as a majority of the articles on the site were about Muslims. And people fall for this hype. MSNBC and all of the left wing media has been silent on criticizing Obama for not following through with his campaign promise of bringing the troops home being the first thing he did in office.

Are Voting Americans Ignorant or Stupid?

I used to call people who don’t think for themselves “ignorant” defined as “not knowing what you don’t know.” In my next book I will be proving the case that with all the information presented via the Internet these days, when one can just look up the truth on their own, I may just begin to call those people “stupid.” Republicans who voted for McCain we’ll give the benefit of the doubt as even he didn’t know anything about economics and how to fix the economy. The Tea Party came along and some of those people woke up. But they still don’t get it. They still believe in the hype of the media. They still have been pushed to support undeclared wars and support new wars. Now we have Romney who gave us Romneycare, was pro abortion at one point and wants to attack Iran as well as look at other threats like Russia.

Only You Can Make A Difference

Those Christians today, who can do simple math, can see how we can’t afford these wars and new wars, can see real unemployment continue to be an issue, who hold their Congressmen accountable, who choose life over death for all mankind, who love their neighbors as themselves, need to become more aware of how they are influenced. They need to challenge the status quo and not accept everything they hear as gospel coming from the media. Even Jimmy Kimmel made reference to the media and how they have a corporate agenda these days. He said “I’m not making a joke, but just saying what some people say.” One has to dig a little deeper to see what’s really going on. Do your homework and see what real freedom can be if we all just stop believing the collective hype of the media.

If Republicans want to win any future elections, they have to return to the party of “no” wars, not just “no more spending.” They could beat Obama with just this one switch from Romney to Ron Paul, the only peace candidate.

The difference in not doing so, is moving from the category of ignorance to stupid. But calling someone stupid doesn’t get me as a writer anywhere, I know. That’s why I write now, to preempt such descriptions. History will judge who was trying to do the right thing. It sure isn’t the current administration or what the Republicans offer as an alternative in Romney.

Dear Republicans and Democrats….you can’t have your cake and pump it freely too. There is a cost for the things you vote into office. Nothing is free. That cost, according to what other countries who are in similar situations have experienced, will be felt directly at the pump via higher prices. It’s an easy source of tax revenue for governments.

In 2005, Italy, a highly taxed country because of the so called “free” health care they provide for their citizens, had an average gas price of $5,96 a gallon. Today that price is $9.27 a gallon. Germany $8.33, France $8.63, Greece $8.52, Spain $7.27, Portugal $8.18 and Ireland $8.14.

The U.S. average is currently $3.73 a gallon. Are you ready for $8 gas prices? Yes, it will come, assuming the Supreme Court votes to force insurance upon everyone. Look what higher health care costs have done to Europe as a percentage of GDP from 1975 to 2006. This is your future America (you will hear me repeat this mantra over and over). Please note the small increase for the United States, then compare to next chart below. Our taxes will increase with Obamacare.

Look at the current higher trend of gasoline prices since Obamacare passed. Italy can’t afford to pay their bills and where do they turn? To the gasoline tax. Mark my words that this will occur here in the U.S. It already is! Senator Mike Enzi, R, Wyoming, wants to index the gas prices to inflation. With the coming inflation, this will destroy those individuals on fixed incomes who rely on steady prices of gasoline to not eat into their food budget. Get rid of Senator Enzi now. He’s part of the problem!

All of these European countries mentioned above have experienced significant increases in the price they pay for gasoline over the last 7 years. While some of this price increase can be directly related to Europe’s involvement with the United States in fighting wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, what will the price do if these countries decide to bomb Iran? This seems to be the course of the current Obama administration as just today, ”U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton made clear that time is running out for diplomacy over Iran’s nuclear program.”

Mitt Romney was pro-health care for all in passing the Massechusett’s Romneycare and has flip flopped on many issues including abortion. Santorum voted for the national debt increase 5 times. These are the one’s Republicans are choosing to “fix” the economy. Obama has passed the Health Care Act that will push gas prices to the European levels in the years ahead because the government will find gasoline as the only source of income via taxes, just as in Europe. This is your future America and it is a future you are voting for. America will never be the same because of your choosing of candidates that make promises they can’t keep.

Only Ron Paul stands out as a non-establishment candidate and the media won’t give him the time of day. Only Ron Paul will make the cuts necessary and reduce defecits and debts. Only Ron Paul will end the wars that cause gas prices (via higher oil prices) to go higher. The media collectively want their chosen candidates in office so the wealthy elite can continue to get favors from the Kings and Queens in Congress who bread their butter on the backs of the working serfs who have less and less of a voice. Either use your voice as your vote now or forever hold your peace because you won’t be allowed to speak out against those who oppress you. The minority will control the majority. You reap what you sow.

You must stop this now before it’s too late. Unless you like paying higher gas prices and more in taxes. It’s up to you America. Do the right thing.

Prelude: It is a typical tactic of the media when one speaks about Jews or Israel to label the writer anti-semite. This article is about how some Christians are influenced by what the Bible says about Israel and how some leaders and many in the media want to rush to war with Iran in fulfillment of Biblical prophecy. It is meant to separate fact from fiction and allow the reader to come to their own conclusion about what our leaders should do regarding Israel. It is meant to only bring awareness to what the agenda may be by those who feel it is the United States destiny to be the policemen to the world.

Israel 101

Over the weekend I attended an Israel 101 lecture at a local Church here in San Diego. It was given by a Jewish, Christian pastor who has a good understanding of Israel and her people, especially from a historic perspective. I wanted to see how he would utilize the Bible in his historical descriptions of Jesus and the disciples as well as which version of the Bible he would reference in support of his views of Israel.

The Pastor started off with the fact that Jewish people represent .02% of the world’s population but have won 20% of all Nobel Prizes. He went on to say that it was Jews who wrote the Bible, except for one person, Luke, who was Greek.

The pastor spoke of famous Jewish people, including Columbus, Karl Marx, Albert Einstein and Larry King to name a few. Of course he left out some other infamous Jews like Howard Stern and Bugsy Siegel and Bernie Maddof. It doesn’t matter what race or religion one is, there are bad seed everywhere. Only one can be called perfect.

The pastor started out quoting the King James version of the Bible. Many people may not realize there are many different versions of the Bible. It might make sense for the reader of this article to do a little research of their own to understand that the verses of the Bible can say completely opposite of what the intent originally was when first written centuries ago. It is for this reason, based on my own research, that I personally use the King James version of the Bible, which even it has had modern changes made to it (so be careful to get the original 1611 version). Also understand that I have many reference sources to understand the intent of various Bible verses, including other versions of the Bible (there are 30 different English versions you can find at Bible Gateway where they compare verse by verse). We didn’t live at the time the Bible was written and while open to interpretation at times, it is the collective word of God, His message to us all via His commandments and Jesus teachings in the New Testament, that are quite clear.

The Pastor only used the King James Version (KJV) of the Bible for the first few verses from Genesis. Genesis 2: 7-8 and Genesis 22: 17-18. For the rest of the presentation, he used the New International Version (NIV). I compared all of the NIV verses he quoted in the presentation with that of the KJV and they were similar enough in message. But it was when the Pastor got to the point of drawing conclusions that the presentation went awry. All he said in relation to what is going on in the Middle East was point to Ezekiel 38 and say it’s all there; Russia, Iran, Sudan, Libya and of course Israel. He didn’t make a reference as to how we were supposed to interpret Ezekiel 38, but then referenced Exekiel 37 v 1-3 and Ezekiel 37 11-14.

1 The hand of the LORD was on me, and he brought me out by the Spirit of the LORD and set me in the middle of a valley; it was full of bones. 2 He led me back and forth among them, and I saw a great many bones on the floor of the valley, bones that were very dry. 3 He asked me, “Son of man, can these bones live?”

I said, “Sovereign LORD, you alone know.”

11 Then he said to me: “Son of man, these bones are the people of Israel. They say, ‘Our bones are dried up and our hope is gone; we are cut off.’ 12 Therefore prophesy and say to them: ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: My people, I am going to open your graves and bring you up from them; I will bring you back to the land of Israel. 13 Then you, my people, will know that I am the LORD, when I open your graves and bring you up from them. 14 I will put my Spirit in you and you will live, and I will settle you in your own land. Then you will know that I the LORD have spoken, and I have done it, declares the LORD.’”

The next part of the presentation was in reference to his visit to a Jewish cemetery in Poland and a visit to Auschwitz.

The last reference was to two more quotes from the Bible. Ezekiel 36: 8-11 and Isaiah 27:6.

8 “‘But you, mountains of Israel, will produce branches and fruit for my people Israel, for they will soon come home. 9 I am concerned for you and will look on you with favor; you will be plowed and sown, 10 and I will cause many people to live on you—yes, all of Israel. The towns will be inhabited and the ruins rebuilt. 11 I will increase the number of people and animals living on you, and they will be fruitful and become numerous. I will settle people on you as in the past and will make you prosper more than before. Then you will know that I am the LORD.

6 In days to come Jacob will take root, Israel will bud and blossom and fill all the world with fruit.

The Pastor then showed scenes of modern day Israel with flowing fields of grain and flowers. This was the end of his presentation. No mention of Gaza and the Palestinians.

I attended the Church this Pastor spoke at the following Sunday. It was during this service that another leader of the Church spoke about the Pastor’s Israel 101 presentation and told the congregation that “we need to look out for Israel,” and that “Iran is very close to having a bomb.”

I left the service after hearing that for reasons I will disclose in Part 2 which will delve into politics, a Nuclear Iran, Israel’s next move and Christian Just War Theory.

Many people who vote today, do so after listening to their favorite talk show host speak fondly about a certain candidate. Others do their homework to seek truth about each candidate. This article and the video below will address how the media, the same media that got us involved in the war in Iraq, is pushing us towards war in Iran and how two Presidential candidates, Gingrich and Romney, who call themselves “conservative” don’t fit into the historic definition of what Christianity stands for, and only one does, Ron Paul. This election will once and for all dictate the direction that Christianity will take. It is up to you, the voter, to make a difference in America’s future, not the biased media. But you have to think for yourself.

And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. Luke 11:9

The Media Tells You All You Need To Know

I have documented in the video below how the media can slant things certain directions so that you, the viewer, will see things as they want you to. They are very good at what they do and they know it. For example, if you hear something over and over again, it slips into your subconscious and the next thing you know, when you’re having a conversation, it comes out of the back of your brain as fact. It’s the same reason you drive by a McDonalds and find yourself pulling into the parking lot because “You Deserve A Break Today!” I hear this tactic all the time from the media when I see them saying the exact same words. I have been documenting this and in the beginning of this video you can see that it’s not just one station that does it, but all of them collectively.

You hear the media say over and over again, “Ron Paul is not electable.” “I like Ron Paul except for his foreign policy.” Or my favorite, “Ron Paul’s foreign policy is dangerous.” No dear media, it is YOU that is dangerous to the future of America. It is YOU that we need to occupy along with the halls of Congress. If you truly want unbiased media that is Constitutionally sound and what we Americans need to hear, then watch Judge Napolitano on Freedom Watch. Other than that, turn the TV off and go out and make a difference in this world following your passion.

I’ve written one book and am writing another to make a difference. I’m fed up with the way our nation is being taken by the Kings and Queens that no matter what happens to the People, come out ahead. 6 years of service to their country and they are set for life. This makes no sense at all. They shouldn’t be getting any extra privileges just because they chose a career path where they work for the American People no more than a Doctor that saves lives should. Sure, baseball, basketball and football players do quite well financially only working a few years, but they too aren’t set for life with benefits and a pension, unless they had longevity and a good financial manager. Many end up declaring bankruptcy.

Gingrich and Romney Want War With Iran

Which brings us to where we are today with the leading candidates according to the latest polls showing Gingrich and Romney fighting it out for the top spot. The media has most voters convinced that Romney or Gingrich are going to be the one’s battling it out for the Republican nominee to take on Barack Obama come November. Gingrich has got to this point by manhandling the moderators over his past marriages, which for some Evangelicals does not matter when it comes to the character they would like to see as a role model for our Children. I personally beg to differ with them. I wouldn’t let Gingrich near my daughter as she might pick up some bad habits…and I’m serious about that. He comes across as a type of person who when he doesn’t get his way or is challenged, he gets angry.

Romney comes across as a more likable candidate, but from a Conservative point of view he already has two strikes against him. He gave the citizens of Massachusetts Romneycare, the precursor to Obamacare, and he at one point in his life was Pro-Choice.

These are the two leading candidates based on the polling of the citizens of South Carolina, Florida and nationally. Mind you, most of these polls are of right around 600 people and I can’t tell you whether sometimes these are the same people polled over and over again, but at some point I will be conducting my own poll in a future state, and I’ll be there asking Christians pointed questions on why they think the way they do.

What I want Christians to think about though is what I present in the following video. I want you to listen to what Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity and Bill O’Reilly, the past and present top TV personalities on Fox News and the one’s outside of Rush Limbaugh that influence the majority of Republicans to think the way they do. I want you to listen to what they actually say in promoting war, something that goes against Christian Just War Theory and what Reagan, Pope Benedict and Dr. Martin Luther King have said.

I can tell you this, listening to Dr. Martin Luther King speak the words of decades ago are more similar to what Ron Paul says today than what comes out of Newt Gingrich and Mitt Romney’s mouth. As Ron Paul says, we have to come to our senses. The only thing standing between your senses and your vote, is the media. Don’t let those in the media influence you to go against your Christian belief. Jesus wouldn’t be influenced by the media. Neither would this writer. I can see right through their tactics. “I vote for Peace.” I vote for Ron Paul.

The message that needs to be spread is…a vote for Newt is a vote for defeat in November…a vote for Ron Paul is a vote for Victory over Obama.

A CNN Poll shows Ron Paul in statistical tie with Barack Obama if they were to face each other in the Presidential election this November.

http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2012/01/16/cnn-poll-obama-tied-with-romney-paul-in-november-showdowns/

Newt Gingrich is 9% behind Obama and doesn’t stand a chance against Obama come November. Democrats know this and want Gingrich or Romney to be the Republican candidate as they know the 99% won’t go for either of them. That’s why the MSNBC shows with Matthews, Schulz and Maddow always try to promote either of them over Ron Paul.

Here are the facts…

Ron Paul can beat Obama on Peace, not war. Obama said he would get us out of the wars “the first thing in office, and he failed.

Ron Paul can beat Obama on civil liberties as he is against the Patriot Act and Obama extended the Patriot Act.

Ron Paul wants to close Guantanamo and Obama said he would, but failed again.

Ron Paul will cut $1 trillion from the budget the first year in office and Obama is increasing our debt by trillions enslaving our youth for decades to come.

Most of our youth are voting for Ron Paul this time around instead of Obama because they are tired of being lied to and are concerned about their future. They also don’t want to be drafted, which is probably a given should Gingrich, Romney or Santorum become President as all they want to do is bomb, bomb bomb, bomb, bomb Iran.

If you are Evangelical and fall for the Fox News propaganda that always directs the viewer towards support of war and the military industrial complex, then understand one thing…..You will NOT be in support of these wars when the government demands your children or grandchildren sign up for their draft. This madness has to stop and it has to stop now! If you are pro-life, choose LIFE, not DEATH for not just the unborn, but for all mankind!

Also see TeaParty.org article CNN SHOCK POLL: RON PAUL HAS BEST CHANCE VS OBAMA

Ron Paul’s message is gaining strength. Google Ron Paul and learn that this man has 30 years of Constitutional consistency and a life long agenda to rein in big government.

It’s now or never folks…

Christians are sometimes influenced by what they hear on TV or radio about how they should think when it comes to U.S. foreign policy. This article will give some background on the United States foreign policy and the results of said policy. If you are a Christian in the United States, you have to understand the consequences of your vote this 2012 election, more than at anytime in our history. But before doing so, please know the facts presented below.

The U.S. supported Saddam Hussein against Iran …then invaded Iraq when Saddam turned on Kuwait. But that didn’t get rid of Hussein. The U.S. invaded Iraq under false pretenses during the George W. Bush administration and many U.S. Christian leaders sent a letter to Bush thanking him.

The U.S. supported Osama bin Laden against Russia in Afghanistan, bankrupting Russia. Osama bin Laden then turned on the U.S. because he didn’t want the U.S. on Saudi Arabia land. The U.S. left Saudi Arabia and now have a $1.3 billion dollar embassy in Iraq. People are continuing to die in Iraq because now the Sunnis are in charge, who just so happen to be pro Iran.

The U.S. spent almost a billion bombing Libya. Gaddafi is now dead and Al Qaeda’s black flag rises above Benghazi’s courthouse.

The U.S. is bombing Pakistan with drones, killing innocents and pissing off millions more while the U.S. leaders of course expect no blowback.

The U.S. is threatening Iran with sanctions and all Republican candidates but Ron Paul are threatening to bomb Iran, this despite U.S. Defense Secretary Leon Panetta saying that Iran is not developing nuclear weapons.

The radical Muslims, mostly from Saudi Arabia where the Wahhabi’s reside, attacked the twin towers with 15 out of 18 coming from Saudi Arabia. Did the U.S. attack Saudi Arabia? Why not? Instead the U.S. attacked Iraq, but no Iraqi’s were hijackers on 9/11. No Iranians either. But the Saudi’s have announced plans to build 16 nuclear reactors.

Either the Bible is clear on this, or the U.S. leaders are. As Christians, we have to make up our own minds who to follow.

Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. Matthew 5:9 Can the U.S. leaders, based on the above actions, be considered “peacemakers” in the eyes of God?

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16 – This means God loved the whole world. This includes Muslims or in the case of Iran, Persians.

And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. Matthew 22:39 The Bible doesn’t say, “unless of course they are Muslim.”

Judge not, that ye be not judged. Matthew 7:1 It is God who is the final judge, not man. Some folks in Washington seem to want to hurry judgement day.

And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever. Isaiah 32:17 Naturally, most Americans want “quietness and assurance for ever.”

Ron Paul is the only Republican candidate who what wants to end the wars. Can one be “conservative” and want war with Iran at the same time like Gingrich, Romney and Santorum?

Ron Paul can also garner votes from the peace loving Democrats who Obama told the first thing he would do in office is end the wars. The alternative to Paul is bankrupting our nation and the end of the American way of life that we have grown accustomed to.

I wrote the book “Buy Gold and Silver Safely” to warn people about the economic dire situation our government has led us to with uncontrollable spending policies and an out of control Federal Reserve. I am writing the book “We the Serfs” to bring an understanding to Christians that the media has an agenda and that government grows upon itself to the point where the Independence we once fought for will be swallowed up by the new Kings and Queens that make up the halls of Congress. The result is, we become indebted slaves; Serfs. These wars do nothing but drive us into further debt. You have to choose what you want for future generations Christians. You have to make this decision now before it’s too late. You make this decision now before the return of the draft and they come for your sons and daughters.

Want to get an idea as to who would be better at running America’s finances, Mitt Romney or Ron Paul? Look no further than how they managed their own finances during the 2008 Presidential Campaign.

Looking at the Quarterly FEC reports, which shows total contributions from individuals, political party committees, other political committees, and the candidate, loans, receipts (incoming money), and disbursements (outgoing money) for the election cycle, Mitt Romney was over $35 million in debt for the election cycle ending December 31, 2007. How much debt did Ron Paul have for his entire 2008 Presidential campaign? Zero debt. Figures can be seen in the charts below (source).

Flash Forward to the 2012 Presidential Campaign – Mitt Romney vs. Ron Paul

While Mitt Romney, as of the end of September 2011, has not loaned his campaign any funds this election, he is outspending all of his competitors in what I would call a blatant attempt to buy the election.

It wasn’t too long ago that former Goldman Sachs CEO, Jon Corzine and current CEO of MF Global spent over $62 million of his own money in a successful Senate campaign, the most expensive Senate campaign in U.S. history. MF Global is now bankrupt and Goldman Sachs was Mitt Romney’s top contributor in 2008 and so far in the 2012 Republican nomination race. Is Goldman Sachs trying to buy this election? Who is the rest of Wall Street trying to influence and why?

From the Washington Post; “The records show Romney continues to rely heavily on the Wall Street and banking sector for financial support, led by U.S. employees of firms such as Barclays Capital, Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank and Morgan Stanley.”

Ron Paul’s top contributors on the other hand are the U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force and U.S. Navy. The only Presidential candidate who wants to end the wars receives the most money from the armed forces. What does that tell you?

The other candidates would rather our nation continue to make our future generations debt slaves fighting undeclared wars the world over.

Mitt Romney’s finances show he is ok with debt and big spending. It is clear he will defend those who need future bailouts. Goldman will be one of the first companies with their hands out during the next financial crisis if Romney is elected. Electing candidates like Romney, Gingrich and Santorumm, who voted to raise the debt ceiling five times while Senator, will result in a lower quality of life for all Americans. You can bank on it.

Ron Paul is a better choice for President. He is more economically sound, uninfluenced by corporate and lobbyist interests as he can’t be bought, and is the only candidate who cares about the liberty of the People.

Evangelicals today are looking for a Republican Presidential candidate who is a true conservative. But if you listen to Fox News or Rush Limbaugh, you’ll hear them push their favorite candidates who aren’t conservative at all which leaves Evangelicals scratching their heads and asking, why are they promoting this or that candidate, and why do they hate Ron Paul so much?

Flashback 2008 Presidential Election

Lets go back in time and see what life was like under George W. Bush before addressing today’s media agenda. When I watched Fox News years ago, I never heard Sean Hannity, Bill O’Reilly, or on the radio Rush Limbaugh talk about what’s going on in the economy. They couldn’t see the spending of the Bush administration was doing to the economy. You never heard them come out and criticize Republicans for voting for Bush’s prescription drug program or TARP. Why was that? The truth is, they are all part of the same elitist group that has fooled the good people of the United States into thinking the way they think. They have taken over the Republican Party and are destroying it. Naturally, most of you reading this would agree, today’s Republican Party is not that of your mother or father’s.

I brought this issue up to my own mother. This was her reply; “I can barely watch it anymore; not the same station we conservative fell in love with many years ago! I turn it off more than watch it! We watch old movies.”

During the last election, Fox News did all they could to discredit Ron Paul. I was rather baffled by this because I was aware of Ron Paul’s understanding of Austrian economics having been in the financial business for 20 years. Sean Hannity was one of the first ones to come out against Paul and I didn’t understand his attacks. It then was like a disease and grew to not just Fox News, but all of the other main television stations including CBS, ABC and NBC who would have people on discrediting Ron Paul.

But it was also Ron Paul’s foreign policy that Fox News and the others didn’t like. Ron Paul wanted peace and to bring our troops home. So did I. So did most Americans. But none of the other candidates wanted peace. Well, Obama did, but he didn’t deliver as promised. I am sure that is part of the reason he got elected though.

The Republican Party then endorsed John McCain, a man who knew nothing about economics and he was easily defeated by Barack Obama, a man with very little Senate experience, but a great speaker and motivator. This was actually the best thing that could happen to the Republican Party because anyone who knew anything about Austrian Economics, was aware at just how bad things were in the economy and even if McCain would have won, the financial mess we dug ourselves into during the Bush administration (and preceding one’s) wouldn’t have been fixed. Republicans were part of the reason we got into this mess to begin with in digging our nation deeper into the ever growing black hole of debt. Unfortunately the hole is even deeper today.

Fox News and the Media Has Changed Over the Years

What started me doubting the sincerity of Fox News was their attacks on Ron Paul. They were all of a sudden going after someone whom I respected so in a sense, also going after my own understanding of what our government needed to do to right the ship. So why is it that Fox News and the other media, including Rush Limbaugh have and still are against the one man who understands whats really going on in the economy? Part of the reason can be found in the fact that none of these media folk ever criticize the Federal Reserve. I first brought this to light in July of 2009 in Why Don’t Limbaugh and Hannity Support Ron Paul’s Bill to Audit the Fed?

You see, the wars can’t be fought without a complicit President, Congress and the Federal Reserve to help loan the money so the military industrial complex can be funded. The military, as many of you are aware, makes up the majority of the budget each year. This year alone the Obama administration approved an over $750 billion military expenditure. How long can this type of spending go on America? The answer is, as long as the Fed can print money and people believe that money has purchasing power. But that “perception” can’t last forever. When the Romans couldn’t conquer any more cities to acquire their gold to keep those in power living the good life, they had to devalue the gold coins by adding other metals of lesser value to them. Pretty soon the people caught on to this and eventually the Roman Empire fell because the only other solution to keep the party going was to tax people more.

Today we see the same thing occurring, and you don’t really notice it too much. But as far as the devaluing of money goes, an old 1964 Roosevelt dime could buy you a loaf of bread in 1964. Today, that same dime, valued at $2.09, can buy you a loaf of bread. But in 1965 they stopped making dimes with silver in them. So a 1965 dime, which is primarily made of copper, is still worth 10 cents today. But how many slices of bread can ten cents buy you today? A dollar in 1965 could buy you 10 loaves of bread. How much bread can a dollar buy you today? Starting to see the picture?

So because of these maneuvers by those that control our money, they are systematically destroying our nation. It’s important for you to understand this monetary issue in setting up the foundation of choosing a candidate for President. So if you see the media pushing a certain candidate down your throat (Bachmann, Cain, Santorum and now Romney, you can bet they are the type of candidate that wants to keep the Fed un-audited and left to continue ripping the American People off through the devaluing of our currency. You can bet they are a candidate that also supports war.

Just look at Obama. He promised change, but escalated the war in Afghanistan by sending in more troops and is bombing Pakistan via the CIA, pissing off millions of more people in Pakistan. He did end the war in Iraq, but shortly after many were killed in coordinated bombings to send the message that all is not well there and they continue today. You can bet at some point, another Saddam Hussein will rise to power. The Peace President spent $896 million of taxpayer money in Libya taking out Gaddafi and what was the result? The black flag of Al Qaeda fly’s from the roof of the courthouse in Benghazi. Remember also that we supported Hussein against Iran and Osama bin Laden against the Russians. Isn’t it time this madness stops? Will a war loving Republican candidate stop this?

Which brings us to the Evangelical conservatives and what they are being told by the media and why the media wants them to think a certain way.

Rush Limbaugh, after the results of the debate in Iowa had this to say;

So Ron Paul finishes third in Iowa and Limbaugh calls it “over” for him. Turns out Ron Paul got just as many delegates as Santorum and Romney and Paul’s numbers are rising in the New Hampshire and National polls while Romney’s are falling.

I was watching Fox news today and Shepard Smith interviewed Ed Rollins, Fox News political analyst and former campaign manager for Michele Bachmann and Mike Huckabee in 2008 (see video below). The topic was about how Evangelical leaders who met last week and came out and said there weren’t any conservative candidates running for President who could beat Romney. In other words, by default, they were choosing Romney. Did they not see the results of the Iowa caucuses? It was basically a three way tie between two war loving candidates and Ron Paul, the only candidate who is against the wars. It was basically a three way tie between big government Santorum, Romneycare Romney and the only candidate who votes against EVERY tax increase and government spending bill, Ron Paul. Which of these candidates is the most conservative again Evangelical leaders?

Are these Evangelical leaders that came out and made those comments about what conservatives think drinking the Fox News Kool-aid? Who exactly are these Evangelical leaders as they don’t speak for me. The video below has Rollins discussing who of the conservative candidates might be left that could challenge Romney, saying that there weren’t any left who had the staying power or finances to mount a real challenge. Ron Paul’s name wasn’t even mentioned. But in the second video below, you’ll see what Rollins just said a few days ago about Paul in that he does have staying power. The difference between Rollins today and Rollins of last week is Fox News is really worried about Paul’s staying power, so they need to not do anything that will promote him. They don’t even mention him as a candidate and he’s polling second and rising in percentages! It’s rather laughable that they think people fall for this propaganda in this day and age. The youth who use twitter and facebook sure don’t fall for it and that’s why the majority of them vote for Ron Paul. Of note is even the MSNBC shows, including Chris Matthews Hardball, Ed Schulz and Rachel Maddow only talked about the other candidates, not Ron Paul. This isn’t conspiracy folks. It’s fact. The Left is just as scared of Ron Paul because he is the real Peace President, and he would run circles around Obama on economic issues.

There are four things to look for in the following video. It was Rollins himself who last week said Ron Paul is in it for the long run. It was Fox News contributor Bill Kristol who didn’t understand why conservatives in Iowa were voting for Ron Paul (I guess Limbaugh and the Evangelical leaders didn’t see those statistics which had Romney behind Santorum and Paul). The Fox News own polls in Iowa showed Ron Paul was doing well with Conservatives. And it was Sarah Palin speaking on behalf of Ron Paul in saying that he has austerity plans to get this nation back to an economic powerhouse.

Evangelical conservatives have to ask themselves some honest questions and decipher for themselves why the media wants them to think a certain way. I know my parents can see through the attempts by the media when they say certain things to influence the viewer. One has to be aware of their intent. Real change can happen and I hope this article at least brings about some awareness of what’s going on when Limbaugh, Fox News and even MSNBC try to push their agendas. They are not in We the People’s best interest.

UPDATE 1/12/2012

The Street.com came out with an article Ron Paul Is More Conservative Than Rick Santorum in which a study was done comparing Santorum and Paul and Paul was the more conservative of the two by a fairly healthy margin. Mitt Romney is a moderate but because of this biased media perception, Ron Paul ranked next to Romney as the “perceived” least conservative option in the GOP presidential field.

It’s time to wake up to what the media does people.

Gary Bauer recently came out with a video telling his followers that “We can do better than Ron Paul.” Of course this is expected from Mr. Bauer if you know a little about his background and support of war and the killing of Muslims.

The following (below) is my email exchange with Gary Bauer, founder of a Christian website “Our American Values” that we had in October of 2007, leading up to the 2008 Presidential election. My goal was to understand where this Christian man, and former Presidential candidate (2000) was coming from in his desire to go to war and kill Muslims.

You may or may not be aware that it was Gary Bauer’s signature on a letter in 1998 to then President Bill Clinton, and another letter to Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich the same year, encouraging them to attack Iraq. They of course finally got their wishes with George W. Bush in office and in 2003 Gary Bauer and other clergy sent Bush a letter, thanking him for attacking Iraq.

The other names on the letters to Clinton were one’s you may recognize: Elliott Abrams, Richard L. Armitage, William J. Bennett, Jeffrey Bergner, John Bolton, Paula Dobriansky, Francis Fukuyama, Robert Kagan, Zalmay Khalilzad, William Kristol, Richard Perle, Peter W. Rodman, Donald Rumsfeld, William Schneider, Jr., Vin Weber, Paul Wolfowitz, R. James Woolsey, and Robert B. Zoellick.

I sure would like to see the investment portfolios of all these signatories leading up to this Bush attack on Iraq, but of course we’ll never see that side of things. On that same note, most probably don’t realize that Congress can invest on foreknowledge of events (called insider trading for the rest of us, and punishable by prison) without recourse. But that’s another issue….back to Gary Bauer’s Christian message.

Here is what Gary Bauer had to say about Ron Paul and his foreign policy of wanting peace;

Of course no one can comment on that youtube video as Bauer has the comment section turned off. That’s how the elitist want it. Their opinion shared without rebuttal. Their way or the highway as our parents told us…except we’re not children any longer and we can fight back with our words and votes. But going on the attack against a candidate like Paul goes against what Reagan said in 1981;

Q. Mr. President, do you approve of conservative fund-raising groups such as NCPAC [National Conservative Political Action Committee] making these expensive television commercials targeting liberal Democrats for defeat in the next election?

The President. I don’t really know how to answer that, because the game of politics is trying to win an election. And I’ve never seen the time when both parties have not been doing everything they can to win an election.

I think one of the things that does not set too well with me is that to campaign before there is a candidate on your side means that you’re campaigning totally in a negative way. And I’ve always believed that you campaign by stressing what it is your candidate would do and your approval of it.

This is the problem many of those who support Ron Paul had in 2007/2008 and 2011/2012. Those of us who want freedom, peace, less government resulting in less taxes know where Ron Paul stands on these issues and how he has stood for 30 years. The problem the other Republicans have is in a one on one debate choosing their candidate versus Ron Paul. Romney, Santorum, and Gingrich, have all voted or approved of more government and wars. Everything they stand for is detrimental to the economic future of not just the United States, but to our youth. That’s why you see the majority of the young today backing and voting for Ron Paul. THEY DON’T WANT TO GO TO WAR. THEY CAN SEE HOW BLEAK THE FUTURE IS AND WHAT THE BILL THEY HAVE TO PAY WILL BE. THEY WANT REAL CHANGE, NOT EMPTY PROMISES OF CHANGE!

Ron Paul’s Christian and Constitutional Foreign Policy

Ron Paul simply wants our Congress to abide by what they swore to uphold before marching off to war at the request of insiders who more than likely profit nicely from war investments (don’t think they don’t as it’s been going on since the Rothschild’s). Ron Paul wants the troops home protecting our borders, not the borders of 130 other nations. Ron Paul understands that we are bankrupting our nation with this “new” Republican party’s foreign policy. It sure as heck isn’t the foreign policy of our parents and grand parents. Some of you may recall it was the Republicans who got us out of Korea and Vietnam…but not before losing over 50,000 American lives in each war. But we had a draft then. Try and instill a draft today and see what Evangelicals keep suggesting we “march to war.” Perhaps they then would turn to understanding that Jesus loved the “whole world.” not just Christians and especially not just Christians who impress upon us that a Presidential candidate is “isolationist” when all he wants us to do is trade with our neighbors rather than bomb them. This is “non-interventionist,” not isolationist. Know the difference.

Ron Paul and Israel

Paul was in Congress when Israel bombed Iraq’s Osirak nuclear plant in 1981 and—unlike the United Nations and the Reagan administration—defended its right to do so. Iran hasn’t been in a war since the U.S. backed Saddam Hussein against them 30 years ago. You might recall that the U.S. also backed Osama bin Laden against Russia in Afghanistan. So lets recap; Saddam turned against us and we attack Iraq. Osama bin Laden turned against us and we attacked Afghanistan (not Saudi Arabia where most of the hijackers came from). Why do these people change their minds about the U.S.? That’s a serious question to think about.

Where are your priorities right now America? Is it allowing our leaders to play havoc with our good name or is to “love thy neighbor as thyself” and trade with them and get our economy back on track? This election you have to make that decision. Status quo, more wars (guaranteed) and submitting our children to future drafts, or a Presidential candidate, the only one, who wants peace? Don’t listen to the media, make up your own mind about what’s best for our country.

If you listen to Gary Bauer and those who want us to go to war, you know what’s coming….

I had a few exchanges with Gary Bauer before this final one below. I would use Bible versus to back up what I say and he would just give me his opinion. You’ll see below he speaks of Christian Just War Theory, but doesn’t ever quote from the Bible supporting his words. This leads me only to the conclusion that he has another agenda. Maybe that’s why he is always asking for donations in his daily emails.

Here here is the email exchange I had with Gary Bauer in 2007. I pressed him for Biblical answers to his call for war. He chose to end the conversation instead.

UPDATE 1/11/2012 Gary Bauer chooses Rick Santorum as his conservative candidate for President. Santorum, like Romney, would bomb Iran. This is no surprise if you knew how much Gary Bauer likes war.

It’s quite clear from this video what the media wants you to think. Ron Paul’s success scares them so they attempt to discredit him whenever they can.

Ask yourself why?

Ron Paul wants peace, not war. Wants our government to live within its means, not raise the debt limit every year. Wants liberty, not government intrusion into our lives. And he wants a sound monetary system, not one that causes bubbles via the Federal Reserve.

The media are nothing but wolves in sheep’s clothing. What’s wrong with a candidate that follows the Constitution?

If you hear something over and over again, it resides in your subconcious. It’s a neuro linguistic approach that most don’t have a clue about. Not the NLP crap that Anthony Robbins puts out.

So when someone hears the name Ron Paul, because of all this barrage by the media of Ron Paul being “unelectible,” “dangerous,” “wacky,” “isolationist,” it’s just in the other persons subconcious.

Kind of like McDonalds…you drive by one and think; “You deserve a break today.” Ultimate result: you get fat and McDonalds makes money. It works….
