Of late we have seen a surge by Newt Gingrich in the polls. First it was Herman Cain, now Gingrich….who’s next? Of course the media, both left and right, have written about Gingrich’s rise as if it was the second coming, claiming him to be “the new front runner” and “back from the brink’ alongside Mitt Romney, the chosen one. But the media simply ignored a Bloomberg poll out of Iowa that had Ron Paul surge as well, up to 19%. What the media needed was a reality check on what’s really been going on with Ron Paul and the uproar by the masses which saw Ron Paul get 89 seconds during the last debate (for the 1 hour televised portion) was heard loud and clear after last nights debate that saw Ron Paul get a majority of the time speaking.
But don’t be fooled by this one time gift to Ron Paul and his supporters by CNN. You can bet they will be back to their old tactics by the time the next debate rolls around. First take a look at the treatment the media gave Ron Paul the day of the Iowa poll results by looking at the following media sources that didn’t say one word about these results (the evening of the poll results).
These screen shots were all taken at the same time on the same day. Click on each link to view the actual view of each site and the stories they were covering.
Iowa Des Moines Register – the only site to mention the Bloomberg poll showing Ron Paul at 19% and in the top tier.
I also watched coverage on MSNBC shows, Rachel Maddow, Chris Matthews and Ed Schultz, along with Bill O’Reilly and Sean Hannity’s shows and there was no mention of the Bloomberg poll on any of them.
No matter who the media puts up as a front runner, mark my words….Mitt Romney is their chosen one. He’s about as left as one can go without being left. And that’s not right. But neither are the candidates on the right since they all act like democrats who used to get us into wars. The wise voter knows their is no difference between the left and right any longer. The wise voter knows they all flip flop on the issues to tell the people what they want to hear, and once in office ignore all their promises (are you listening Obama voters?). I knew this would happen whether it was Obama or McCain the last election when the media ignored the one candidate who could have actually made a difference by CUTTING government, Ron Paul.
I guarantee you that no Republican currently running for office will miraculously turn the economy around. They will “talk the talk” and tell you what you want to hear, like Newt Gingrich and Mitt Romney, but in the end, they will do what the lobbyists and military industrial complex want.
This election is the first time in a long time where the voter can make a difference by electing someone who is actually in their best interest; the interest of life, liberty and a return to happiness…and he just might get the economy back on track at the same time….at the expense of BIG GOVERNMENT.
Obama, Gingrich, Romney….will be more of the same. I said it last election and I will say it again this election.
It’s time to wake up America! It’s time to vote Ron Paul and see real “change” occur. The consequences of not doing so, in this great nation, will be detrimental.
