Obama or Romney? When It Comes to the Economy, It Doesn’t Matter

I love how facebook and other discussions are centered around politics during an election year. I get to sit back and ask questions of both the Republicans and the Democrats by challenging them on the real issues that plague America. What I find is that most really don’t see the underlying big picture that will affect everyone moving forward. There are many reasons for this, stemming from media control to the plethera of entertainment shows that keep people’s minds busy on pointless Hollywood happenings. Whatever happened to Paris Hilton anyway?

Here’s a sampling of how prevalent these entertainment shows are:

E News, Access Hollywood, Entertainment Tonight; TMZ, Extra, The Soup, Fashion Police, Entertainment This Week, Dancing With the Stars, Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Ellen, The View, Live With Kelly, Leno, Letterman, Fallon, Kimmel, Ferguson….to name a few.

One could watch entertainment TV 24 hours a day it seems. But what will they have accomplished? Hollywood is just a distraction the media uses to keep your minds off of what the politicians are up to. How else could we let our debt grow so big? Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain!

Are You Better Off Than You Were 4 Years Ago?

Republicans only seem to have the jobs picture as their means to attack Obama based on what I heard on CNBC today from Paul Ryan and others. The Republicans may think they can attack the higher national debt as an issue, since they displayed a large debt clock at the recent Republican National Convention, but under Bush, deficits rose to unprecedented levels. Obama has just compounded this.

If I give you a trillion dollars, are you better off than you were 4 years ago? How about $5.3 trillion? That’s how much debt has been thrown at the economy the last 4 years, not counting the Fed’s magical quantitative easing programs. Under Bush’s presidency, a total of 8 years, the national debt went up $4.8 trillion. Can we stop blaming GW and put the blame on all who are elected to the Presidency and Congress?

They work for us yet take a part of what we earn and spend it foolishly. The more the debt rises, the more you pay. Just wait till interest rates start to creep higher. The economic models never account for higher interest in their projections of future spending.

One may think they are better off than 4 years ago, but food stamps are at a record distribution and the real unemployment rate is still double digit since those who fall off the books for being out of work too long aren’t any longer counted. The stock market higher is because of the Fed’s blown bubble, not the underlying data which I point out in a recent article; What the Data Really Tells Us and How It Will Affect Gold and Stocks.

Will Obama Get His Face On His Own U.S. Bill?

All of the euphoria by Democrats about their chosen one Obama, led me to do some thinking outside the box.

To mock the out of control spending of every administration, I began during this Obama administration to create my own currency. Last year I introduced the Barackazillion, a new currency that can solve everyone’s problems. You can watch the video of the Barackazillion in action at Barckazillion.com.

The Barackazillion is the first currency in the United States with a smiling President on it. It’s “as good as gold” and even has a picture of Fort Knox on it. This shows real strength. In fact, the Barackazillion is the world’s strongest currency. Why? Because you can’t tear it in half. Let’s just say I had some fun in the video.

But the most important thing about the Barackazillion is the fact that just one of them will erase your debt. If you have a Visa credit card with Chase Bank with debt on it, just send in a Barackazillion and it will wipe away that debt. Anyway…you have to watch the video to see all it can do. This is the lunacy of what printed money backed by nothing but faith really is.

Yes, I have the Mittazillion set to go “if” he should somehow beat Obama come November.

Neither President elected is going to change this dynamic of spending.

And then there is this need to bomb our neighbors because of those scary Muslims. More foolishness and waste, even with Obama who said he would bring our troops home the first thing in office, but increased the number of troops in Afghanistan and bombs Pakistan over and over with drones. So much for the Peace President. Romney is no better since he has threatened Iran and has lashed out at Russia.

But hey…there is a reason why Washington D.C. is now one of the top 10 most expensive places to live. The military industrial complex (Pentagon) needs to maintain their cushy lifestyle.

For those that don’t understand any of the above or need things explained in simpler terms, please watch this video:

As for me..I’ll go back to my writing…trying to make a difference moving forward…just in case what our leaders promise doesn’t come true.

What are the odds I’m right? For me, it’s simple math…but hey…at least I can print my own money!
